Technical Account Manager, U.S.A.

Products/Market: Promoting natural preservation / food safety technologies to food and nutrition manufacturers. 

Responsibilities:

·    Build, manage, and optimize a customer account list as the company grows.
·    Develop and manage an individual annual sales budget to deliver agreed-upon goals.
·    Maintain customer forecasts, projects, and pricing.
·    Participate in key decision-making business meetings. (internally and externally)
·    Will lead new customer introductions, assist customers with troubleshooting, projects, etc.
·    Reports to U.S.-based Sales leadership. 

Requirements:

·    5+ years of industry-related experience. (food and beverage)
·    Experience selling functional ingredients on a B2B basis is preferred.
·    A proven track record of developing relationships and driving sales is ideal.
·    Technical experience or having a science-based degree are also preferred.
·    Experience managing a pipeline, establishing milestones, tracking metrics, etc.
·    Should have a “builder” mentality, as this role will involve finding and developing new accounts.
·    Experience with Salesforce is a plus, but is not required. 

Location/Territory/Travel:

·    Home office located anywhere near a major U.S. airport.
·    Geographic scope: U.S.A.
·    This role will involve traveling 20 – 30% of the time. 

Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
